Meet Katie – The Puck Princess
Hi there! My name is Katie, and I’m 10 years old. I’m from Harrisburg, PA, and I’ve been a huge hockey fan ever since I started going to Hershey Bears games with my parents three years ago. There’s nothing like the thrill of a live game, and I’ve been hooked ever since!
My favorite team is the Hershey Bears, and my absolute favorite player is Hendrix Lapierre. He’s such a talented player, and I’ll never forget the moment when he gave me his stick after winning the Calder Cup in 2024—definitely the best day ever!
Every game day, my family and I have a few special traditions. We always get a pretzel and take a picture with Coco the Bear, the Hershey Bears’ mascot. It’s all part of what makes going to the games so much fun!
I started this blog to share my love of hockey with other kids. I hope that when you visit “Puck Princess,” you’ll learn more about the game and get to know your favorite players better, just like I have.
